Account Information
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a cryptographic hash — we never see your plaintext password).
Location Data
When you broadcast, we collect the GPS coordinates of your drone to show your stream on the live map. Location is only collected while you are actively streaming and with your permission.
Usage Data
Information about how you use the app — streams you watch, tips you send, and features you use — to improve the platform.
Device Information
Device type, operating system, app version, and crash logs to diagnose issues.
Push Notification Token
A Firebase Cloud Messaging token to send you notifications about pilots you follow and activity on your account.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Firebase (Google) — our database, authentication, and cloud function provider. Data is stored in Firebase Firestore (us-east1 region).
Agora.io — our live streaming infrastructure provider. Agora receives your video and audio streams for real-time delivery to viewers.
Google Play — processes in-app purchases. We receive purchase tokens and verification data to grant coins.
Law Enforcement — if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

Your email address is never shown to other users.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Stream metadata is retained after streams end for leaderboard and statistics purposes. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing privacy@hoverdart.com.
HoverDart is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at privacy@hoverdart.com.

We do not sell personal information. California residents may request to know what personal information we have collected, used, or disclosed. Contact privacy@hoverdart.com to submit a request.
We use encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access, and cryptographic password hashing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
We send push notifications about pilots you follow going live, tips you receive, new followers, and important account activity. You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use of HoverDart after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the changes.
